Data Deletion Policy

1. Overview

Jodi Sansar Matrimonial Services ("Jodi Sansar", "we", "us", or "our") respects your right to control your personal information. This Data Deletion Policy explains how you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data from our matrimonial platform (the "Platform"), and what happens after we receive your request.

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your account and personal data, send an email to our support team:

Please include the following in your email so we can verify and process your request:

• Subject line: Data Deletion Request
• Your registered full name
• Your registered mobile number and/or email address
• A clear statement that you want your Jodi Sansar account and personal data deleted

Requests sent from your registered email (or that clearly identify your registered mobile) help us verify ownership and avoid unauthorised deletions.

3. What We Delete

After verification, we will remove or permanently de-identify personal data associated with your account, including where applicable:

• Profile details (bio, preferences, photographs, gallery)
• Account credentials and contact details used for login
• Interests, match activity, and in-app chat content linked to your account
• Device / session tokens issued for your account

4. What We May Retain

Certain information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, for example:

• Payment, invoice, and tax records (typically up to 7 years)
• Records needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or comply with legal / regulatory requests
• Anonymised or aggregated analytics that no longer identify you

Retention of such records does not mean your profile remains visible on the Platform.

5. Processing Timeline

• We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 48 hours.
• After identity verification, we aim to complete deletion within 30 days.
• You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted (or if we need more information).

6. Important Notes

• Deletion is permanent. You will lose access to your profile, matches, chats, and subscription benefits.
• Account deletion does not automatically entitle you to a refund. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• Other members may still retain copies of messages or information you previously shared with them outside our control.
• If your account is under investigation for fraud or Terms violations, we may delay deletion until that process concludes, as permitted by law.
